THIS BODY AIN'T MINE - PART 1

Hey there! This article is dedicated to you who are struggling with homosexuality or lesbianism and apparently you are losing the battle.

I know this is a serious topic and my intention is not making fun of you nor judging your situation. I know that you think this is not your fault and that you didn’t choose what happened to you.

Probably, you have tried to seek God but your “friends” and your family keep telling you: “Why do you go to church? You are lost; there is not salvation for you.”  And the worst part is that you probably believe them.

I want to start telling you that God loves you and it’s not his will to see you lost. He doesn´t see you as others do. Jesus didn’t come to be your judge but your lawyer before God.

For I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world. John 12:47

So, God loves me the way I am?

Yes, but because He loves you as a Father, He doesn’t want you to stay like this. Any homosexual practice is unpleasant for God.  It is my obligation to write you the following verses:

Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10

But I’m even more obligated to finish this piece of scripture:

And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. 1 Corinthians 6:11

This takes us to two conclusions:

1. Any kind of homosexual practice is not only unpleasant to God but condemned by Him.

2.  You can either decide to stay either in the first list <those who will not inherit the kingdom of God> or in the second list <those who WERE involved in those practices but now have been washed by God>.

Maybe psychology and other people have told you: “Homosexuality is a normal thing nowadays”. But please record this in your heart: If it was a normal thing, it wouldn’t make you feel uncomfortable and dirty. However, I have good news for you: God can wash you. It doesn’t matter how dirty your sin is, it doesn’t matter how little or how much you are involved in homosexual practices; as the verse we just read says, He can wash you.

Please make this prayer with me: Lord Jesus, I’m tired of this situation. I can’t deal with this anymore and I can’t go out by my own means. I already tried. I need your supernatural help. I need you to wash me. I’ve sinned and I’m asking you to wash me. I want you to be my Lord because I already proved myself that I can’t be my own lord. I need you. Please write my name in the book of life. I want to inherit your kingdom. I know you died for me because you knew I was going to fail. Be my God and my Father from now on. Amen.

Now just stand, you have been cleansed. Your bad record has been deleted. On behalf of Jesus I tell you: Go and sin no more. Please do not miss the second part of this article. You need to read it.
