Are you sick of
crying? Are you tired of dealing with a guilt that doesn’t belong to you? Have
been considering suicide lately? If you think death is the only solution to
your problem, let me tell you something. Please pay attention because I’ll be
very sincere with you: YOU ARE RIGHT! Only death is the solution. God himself
thought the same and that’s why He sent his son to die for you. Jesus took your
place.
For you know that it
was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed
from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the
precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. 1 Peter 1:18-19
Maybe you’ve heard before what happened that day 2,000 year
ago but I want to tell you again the story of a man that felt your very same
pain. He cried bitterly your pain in his way to death. His veins were pierced
so that you didn’t need to pierce yours.
He was hung from a piece of wood so that you didn’t need to
die hung.
Maybe some of you will say: “I know that story but Jesus was
killed, he didn’t want to die as I want to die”
You know what? YOU ARE WRONG! HE CHOSE to die so that you
could choose to live. If somebody wanted to die for you, it was him.
Do you understand now when I tell you that through his death
He gave you life? Do you understand now when I say that He took your place?
GOOD NEWS: He already died for you. And not only that, but
he defeated death so that you could live with him.
Because God’s children
are human beings—made of flesh and blood—the Son also became flesh and blood.
For only as a human being could he die, and only by dying could he break the
power of the devil, who had the power of death. Only in this way could he set
free all who have lived their lives as slaves to the fear of dying. Hebrews 2:14-15
Do you understand now that it was all about you?
Dear friend! You are not alone! Jesus promised, before
leaving, that he would leave you an advocate, a friend: His beautiful Holy
Spirit that would be with you forever. You are not an orphan.
And I will ask the
Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you
forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither
sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in
you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. John 14:16-18
In this moment with the authority that God has given me, in
the Name of Jesus I cast out every thought of death in you. I pray now that you
can feel the presence of the Holy Spirit with you. You are not alone. God has
not forsaken you. Feel his presence in this very moment and start feeling free
from all kind of suicidal thoughts. Be free in the Name of Jesus.
Please do not miss the second part of this article. It’s a
life or death thing. If this article was not for you, I invite you to share it.
I’m sure there’s someone in Facebook who is really desperate for these words.
